Whirlwind Weekend

Since daddy just had a three-day weekend, we packed up and headed south. Neither girl had ever been to either of Scott's grandparents homes and we hadn't seen them in a while, so we decided some visits were in order. But first, we stopped in Austin to see baby cousin, Ava...and her parents of course. They graciously let us crash overnight and then we all met up with Uncle Ross for brunch on Saturday. I cannot believe we didn't get any pictures of all three girls...what was I thinking!?!?

Next, we were off to Victoria to visit Gramma Rowe. What I love most is getting to experience all the places that Scott has made so many precious memories...and to see him get so excited as he tells us all about them :o). Gramma Rowe has lived in the same home for almost fifty years, so that's a home full of tons of memories! I so enjoyed hearing new stories and watching the girls get to know her better. She and Emmy bonded over play-doh and she had Hayden in stitches :o). We had the best time!

Late Sunday afternoon, we packed back up and drove over to Fulshear to Scott's parents to stay for the evening. After a stop at the new candy shop and some yummy Mexican food, we all crashed early! We spent a few hours on Monday morning just playing and hanging out, but it was definitely too short of a visit!

On the road again...we made it to DeeDah and PawPaw's house in Conroe just in time for lunch on Monday. They claim that they just threw something together, but it sure was a fabulous meal! The girls had a wonderful time playing...Emerson even got to go fishing for the first time :o). We so enjoyed our time visiting and I always love hearing about when Scott was little!

Thank you all for such a fabulous weekend...we love you!!!
