Babymoon

All aboard! Or as our Maitre‘d said on the cruise, "Shhhhhowtime!"

We decided that our ability to pick up and go was about to change in the very near future, so it was time for a trip to celebrate our new family. And what better way to celebrate this event than to set sail to Mexico on a cruise?

We convinced our friends (it didn't take much arm-twisting, really) to join us since they needed a Babymoon too. We sailed out of Galveston and onto Cozumel and Progreso. Of course we all began the trip by roasting ourselves like lobsters in the Carribbean sun, so the rest of the trip was full of aloe and cold showers. Rookie mistake.

The highlights (if you ask the pregnant ladies) included breakfast, lunch and dinner. And for those Stimsons reading this post, the food was good. There were shows, comedians, bingo, beaches, beautiful sunsets and daily naps.

Here are some pictures of the trip. We decided we'll have to go again when the baby is older. What a great way to relax!
